Free agent safety Antonio Allen has agreed to a contract with the Houston Texans, reports Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily Newsreports that the agreement is a one-year deal.

Allen was selected in the seventh round of the 2012 draft by the Jets. He played three seasons with the team, but was placed on injured reserve for the 2015 season after tearing his right Achilles tendon.

Over the course of his career, Allen has recorded 110 combined tackles, 2.5 sacks and one interception.
