NFL free agent Preston Parker was arrested on Monday on drug charges after an officer found marijuana on the former Florida State football star during a traffic stop, according to the Palm Beach Post.

The arrest was Parker's second of the month.

Police stopped Parker for illegal tints on his car and then noticed him trying to toss a plastic bag containing marijuana out the window. He proceeded to resist arrest when the officer tried to handcuff him, according to the Palm Beach Post

Parker, 29, was released from jail on April 1 on $15,000 bail after being charged with cocaine possession, using/displaying a firearm during a felony and destroying evidence. Because that case remains open, Parker will stay in jail without bail for his latest drug charge.

The wide receiver remains a free agent after being released from the New York Giants in September 2015. He has also played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints.
