Ravens, Justin Tucker agree to four-year, $16.8 million deal

The Ravens have signed kicker Justin Tucker to a four-year, $16.8 million contract with $10.8 million guaranteed, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports.
Tucker’s agent confirmed the details through the team’s official site. The deal was agreed upon before the 4 p.m. ET franchise tag extension deadline, keeping Tucker with the Ravens through 2019.
“Justin has become a cornerstone for our team and we are happy to get this contract completed,” GM Ozzie Newsome said in a statement. “What is good for the Ravens right now is that we have our Pro Bowl special teams group -- [punter] Sam [Koch], [long snapper] Morgan [Cox] and Justin -- signed through the next three seasons.”
Tucker is the second-most accurate kicker ever, with an 87.8% conversion rate. Last season, he became the fastest kicker to 500 points, doing so in 60 career games. His long-range accuracy has been his greatest calling card, making 112 of 118 attempts from 50-plus yards.
ESPN reported Thursday that Tucker had “vowed” not to re-sign with the team next season if they were unable to settle on a new contract.
