Jason Kelce Paid NSFW Tribute to Nick Foles, Doug Pederson During Retirement Speech

Legendary Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce announced his highly anticipated decision to retire from the NFL on Monday, officially declaring the end of his illustrious 13-year career.

The 36-year-old drew quite the crowd for his retirement press conference, and he delivered a heartfelt speech that brought tears to the eyes of many in attendance.

In addition to broaching heartwarming topics such as his relationship with his wife Kylie and his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Jason had a hilarious quip about the tandem of former Eagles quarterback Nick Foles and ex-coach Doug Pederson.

“I won’t forget Nick Foles having the game of his life on the biggest stage possible. And the biggest d--- on the team, going up to Doug Pederson and asking for the Philly Special. And Doug Pederson having the biggest balls in the stadium.... to say, ‘Yeah, let’s do it,’” Kelce said as he fought back tears.

The 41–33 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI was the lone championship Kelce won in his career, and he made clear just how much the moment meant to him.

Kelce will be remembered as one of the greatest offensive linemen to ever suit up in the NFL, but it’s his personality off the field that has made him one of the most popular figures in the league. That was on display during his emotional farewell to Eagles Nation, in front of whom he’s played since being drafted in the sixth round in 2011.
