Safety Malcolm Jenkins is close to a deal that would allow him to return to the Saints, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The Saints selected Jenkins in the first round of the 2009 NFL draft and won a title with him the next year. He spent five seasons with New Orleans before he signed with the Eagles in 2014, winning a Super Bowl there in 2017. On Tuesday, Jenkins was released by the Eagles after the team opted to not exercise his 2020 club option.
