Corey Crawford starts for Blackhawks against Red Wings

Corey Crawford and the Blackhawks have yet to lose in regulation this season.

Chicago Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville says goaltender Corey Crawford will start Sunday against the Detroit Red Wings.

Crawford left his last game with an upper-body injury. He played in only the first period of Thursday night's win at St. Louis. Ray Emery relieved Crawford against the Blues and finished off a 3-0 shutout.

Quenneville insists Crawford's latest injury isn't the same one that took him off the ice previously this season.

Emery played and Crawford was a reserve on the bench Friday night in a 4-3 overtime win over Columbus that extended the Blackhawks' NHL-record, season-opening points streak to 21 games. Emery is 8-0 as a starter and ranks among NHL leaders with in save percentage and goals-against average.
