Kings forward Anze Kopitar will travel with the team on its upcoming five-game road trip, according to Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times.

Kopitar left Sunday afternoon's victory over the Blue Jackets in the second period with what the team called an "upper-body injury." He did not return to the game.

After the game, when asked about the injury, Kings' head coach Darryl Sutter twice said Kopitar was "all right".

"Nothing serious but gonna be careful too," Sutter told the Times on Monday morning. He added that the Kings would know more about Kopitar's status on Tuesday, before the team's game against the Flyers.

The road trip also includes games against the Penguins, Red Wings, Hurricanes and Stars.

Kopitar has three points (two goals, one assist) on the season. He led the team with 70 points last season. He also had a team-high 21 points during the Kings' Stanley Cup run.
