Don Cherry honors NFL’s New England Patriots with star-spangled suit

Don Cherry honored the New England Patriots with a special suit on Saturday.

On Saturday, however, Cherry’s always-colorful wardrobe had a distinctly American flavor to it. 

According to Cherry, his suit was in honor of the New England Patriots, the team he says he’s rooting for in the AFC Championship Game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

On the subject of Cherry, the ECHL’s Toledo Walleye wore Don Cherry inspired sweaters for their game against the Utah Grizzlies on Saturday.

Somewhere, golfer John Daly feels incredibly upstaged.
