The sweet, silky hands of Philadelphia Flyers forward Jakub Voracek brought an end to the Washington Capitals’ 12-game home winning streak on Wednesday night.

The 26-year-old Czech beat Braden Holtby for the second time on the night, picking the upper right corner after a nifty inside-out move around Evgeny Kuznetsov to give the Flyers a 4-3 win in overtime.

Voracek now has four goals and 10 points in his last seven games, following 4-22-26 totals in his first 40.

Despite the loss, the Capitals did add to their commanding lead in the Metropolitan Division, where their 74 points are 15 ahead of the second-place Rangers. The loss was Washington’s fifth at home this season and second in overtime. The Capitals also remain the only team in the league to have fewer than 10 regulation losses this year.
