John Scott earned the title of All-Star MVP, capping the controversy over his trade from Anaheim and demotion to the Canadiens' farm system.

• Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Lou Lamoriello has informed teams that he’s willing to entertain offers for almost anyone on the roster before the Feb. 29 trade deadline, reports Rob Longley of The Toronto Sun.

• Tampa Bay Lightning general manager Steve Yzerman is “actively and aggressively” trying to trade left winger Jonathan Drouin, reports Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times.
