Jamie Benn, Sidney Crosby and Patrick Kane have been named the NHL’s Hart Trophy finalists.

The winner, deemed “the most valuable to his team,” will be announced June 22 in Las Vegas.

Benn posted career highs with 41 goals and 41 assists, steering the Dallas Stars to a first place finish in the Western Conference. He is also a finalist for the Ted Lindsay award for most outstanding player.

Crosby finished third in scoring, with 21 goals and 31 assists to lead the Pittsburgh Penguins to second place in the East, operating largely without injured star Evgeni Malkin. This is his fifth time as a Hart finalist, and would be his third win (2007, 2014).

Kane led the league in scoring and became the first American-born player to win the Art Ross trophy, with 46 goals and 60 assists. He led the Blackhawks to an eighth consecutive postseason berth and strung together a 26-game point streak from Oct. 17 to Dec. 13. He is also a finalist for the Lindsay award.
