Katy Perry has a new song that will be featured in NBC’s coverage of the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
The song, “Rise,” features lyrics that evoke the Olympic spirit, such as “victory is in my veins.”
NBA has previously used Perry’s song “Roar” to promote the 2014 Sochi Olympics.
The song was released on Thursday and a music was released Friday morning.

“This is a song that’s been brewing inside me for years, that has finally come to the surface,” Perry said in a statement. “I was inspired to finish it now, rather than save it for my next album, because now more than ever, there is a need for our world to unite.”
