Christen Press is one of the U.S. women's national team's stars on the rise, and she showed why she's earned that reputation in the Algarve Cup final against France.

With time winding down in the first half, Press embarked on a brilliant individual effort, winning the ball at the midfield line and splitting the French defense before finishing with a low strike from the top of the box to give the USA a 2-0 lead.

The goal was Press' 20th international strike for the U.S.
