Oklahoma Sooners wide receiver Ryan Broyles has a torn ACL and is out for the season, according to John Hoover of the Tulsa World.
Broyles sustained the injury in the third quarter of Oklahoma's 41-25 win over Texas A&M when he landed awkwardly on his left leg and had to be helped off the field.
“For that to happen is just deflating for him, and for all of us,” Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops said. This season, Broyles had 81 catches for 1070 yards and 10 touchdowns. The senior currently holds the Oklahoma records for career receptions (347), yards (4499) and touchdowns (45) and broke the NCAA record for receptions in a career earlier this season.
