Flyers Reach Extension Agreement With Braydon Coburn

The Philadelphia Flyers have come to an agreement with defenseman Braydon Coburn on a multi-year contract extension, according to a tweet from the team’s official account.

Coburn, 26, is in his seventh NFL season and his fourth with the Flyers. The former No. 8 overall draft pick has been a staple in the defense of the 8-4-2 Philadelphia squad this season.

In 14 games this year Coburn has tallied three assists for three points overall and 19 penalty minutes. Last year in 82 games he scored two goals and contributed 14 assists for 16 points while also posting a +15 plus/minus rating.
