The Arizona Diamondbacks have agreed to terms with Willie Bloomquist on a two-year contract, according to MLB.com.

Bloomquist’s new deal will reportedly pay him $3.8 million over the next two seasons. The 33-year-old had previously opted out of his contract that would have paid him $1.1 million to play for Arizona in 2012 to explore free-agency. The utility man played in 97 games for the up-start Diamondbacks, hitting .266/.317/.340 with four home runs and 20 stolen bases. The 11-year veteran has played for the Seattle Mariners, Kansas City Royals, and the Cincinnati Reds in the past.
