Defensive Coordinator Tom Bradley Named Penn State's Interim Coach

Penn State University's Board of Trustees announced Wednesday night that defensive coordinator Tom Bradley will be the interim head coach for the remainder of the 2011 season. The board announced earlier that legendary head coach Joe Paterno had been fired.

Bradley has been the defensive coordinator since 1999, after Jerry Sandusky retired. Sandusky's sexual abuse charges and the subsequent handling of the events by Paterno and former president Graham Spanier have led to this drastic change in course.
