Judge Who Set Bail For Jerry Sandusky Had Ties To His Charity

Former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky was released on $100,000 bail by a judge who had ties to Sandusky’s ‘Second Mile’ charity, CNN reports. The charity, designed to help young children with a troubled past, was believed to be used by Sandusky as a source to find his victims.

Judge Leslie Dutchcot freed Sandusky, who has been charged with 40 counts of abusing children, “against the wishes of prosecutors,” CNN claims.

As a condition of the release, Sandusky was told he is not allowed near children.
