Report: Padres Agree To Terms On One-Year Deal With Mark Kotsay

The San Diego Padres have reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year, $1.25 million contract with outfielder Mark Kotsay, according to Fox Sports.  

Kotsay, who played with the Padres from 2001-2003, currently lives in San Diego with his family.

The 35-year-old hit .270/.329/.373 with three home runs and 31 RBIs in 104 games for the Milwaukee Brewers in 2011. Over the course of his career, he has been a .278/.335/.410 hitter with 124 total home runs and 694 total RBIs.

Kotsay’s best year came in 2004 when he hit .314/.370/.459 with 15 home runs and 63 RBIs for the Oakland Athletics.
