Mizzou Head Coach Gary Pinkel Charged With DWI
University of Missouri head football coach Gary Pinkel was arrested Wednesday night for driving while intoxicated, KOMU reports. Pinkel posted $500 bond and was released from Boone County jail.
Pinked was pulled over late last night for lane and signal violations. According to the sheriff’s department, the DWI is Pinkel’s first offense and the coach was cooperative throughout the process.
The athletic department has yet to issue a statement on the arrest. Pinkel is in his 11th season with Missouri. Over that span, Mizzou has a 82-54 record. Pinkel and the 5-5 Tigers are set play against Texas Tech this Saturday.
