Dallas Cowboys receiver Miles Austin did not practice with the team today during a walkthrough in Arizona, according to ESPN Dallas. The Cowboys are slotted to play this Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals.
Austin, who has missed the last three games for the Cowboys with a hamstring injury, is still undergoing rehab in an attempt to return to the Cowboys sideline by this weekend. In total, the 27-year-old has missed five games this season due to injury. He initially injured his left hamstring during training camp. While he played in Week 1 unharmed for the Cowboys, he re-injured himself in Week 2, forcing him to sit out the entirety of Weeks 3 and 4. So far this season, Austin has 28 receptions and four receiving touchdowns. Last season, he pulled in 69 catches and seven touchdowns while playing each game. His best season came in 2009-10 when he hauled in 81 receptions for 1320 yards and 11 touchdowns.
