Canadiens’ Max Pacioretty Suspended Three Games

Montreal Canadiens forward Max Pacioretty will be suspended for three games for his hit on Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang on Saturday, according to Bob McKenzie of TSN. NHL Senior VP of Player Safety Brendan Shanahan released a video explaining the suspension.

In the third period of Saturday night’s game, Letang was skating across the middle of the ice in the Canadiens’ zone when Pacioretty hit the Penguins defenseman, who broke his nose on the hit. Letang would return to the game later and score the game-winning goal in overtime.
