The Baltimore Orioles are expected to name longtime Milwaukee Brewers coach Bill Castro as their new bullpen coach, according to MLB.com.

Castro, 57, has been with the Brewers since 1992. He has predominantly served as the team’s bullpen coach, he has also had several stints as a pitching coach and has been serving as the organization’s roving Minor League Latin pitching instructor, according to MLB.com.

The native of the Dominican Republic will give the Orioles a Spanish-speaking coach, something manager Buck Showalter has hinted he’d like, according to MLB.com. Showalter has said that he’d like to have the entire coaching staff in place by next week’s winter meetings, according to MLB.com.
