Texans Will Work Out Jeff Garcia, Jake Delhomme

The Houston Texans will work out quarterbacks Jeff Garcia and Jake Delhomme with the intention of signing one of them to back up T.J. Yates, according to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle.

The Texans lost starting quarterback Matt Schaub after just 10 games this season and his backup, Matt Leinart, suffered a broken collarbone in Sunday’s win against the Jacksonville Jaguars and is out for the season. The only quarterbacks currently on the roster are Yates and Kellen Clemens, who was signed last week.
