Report: Ndamukong Suh's Suspension Appeal To Be Denied By League

Ndamukong Suh’s appeal of his two game suspension will be denied by the league, according to a tweet from Adam Schefter of ESPN.com.

"Art Shell has notified Ndamukong Suh, the Lions, the NFLPA, and the NFL that Suh’s appeal of his two-game suspension has been denied," Schefter said.

Suh was suspended two games without pay this week for stomping on Green Bay Packers lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith’s arm on the nationally televised Thanksgiving Day game.  Suh was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct as the Lions went on to lose 27-15. The 24-year-old did not immediately apologize for the incident in post-game interviews, claiming the action was an accident.

“I don’t do bad things and I had no intention to hurt somebody,” Suh said to reporters after the game. “If I want to hurt somebody, I’m going to hit his quarterback.”

He has since made an apology on his Facebook page.
