NBA free-agent Caron Butler will meet face-to-face Monday with the Los Angeles Clippers at the team’s training facility, Butler’s agent said in a phone interview Sunday, the LA Times reports.
Butler, a nine-year veteran, played for the world champion Dallas Mavericks last season. Butler appeared in just 29 games due to surgery last January on a ruptured right patellar tendon.
Over his career, Butler has averaged 16.6 PPG and has been named to two All-Star teams. This offseason, the 6-foot-7 free-agent forward has also garnered interest from the Chicago Bulls and San Antonio Spurs.
