The San Francisco Giants and New York Mets have agreed to a deal that will send Andres Torres and Ramon Ramirez to New York for outfielder Angel Pagan, according to the New York Post. The deal is contingent on all players passing physicals.

Pagan will likely be a fourth outfielder option for the Giants, seeing as he can play all three positions. San Francisco will use Aubrey Huff, Nate Schierholtz, and Melky Cabrera around the outfield, but adding Pagan to the mix adds security and a solid glove to the roster. The Mets have been busy Tuesday, as it was announced that they had agreed to a deal with relief pitcher Jon Rauch.
