The New York Mets and right-handed relief pitcher Jon Rauch have agreed to terms on a deal, according to MLB Network's Jim Duquette. The deal is contingent upon Rauch passing a physical.

The implication is that the Mets are interested in perhaps adding another reliever, so Rauch's role with his new team is not yet known. Rauch spent last year with the Toronto Blue Jays, appearing in 53 games and gathering 11 saves.
