The Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors, and Boston Celtics have all been involved in trade talks concerning New Orleans Hornets point guard Chris Paul, sources have told Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Wojnarowski tweeted Tuesday that the teams have been "strongly engaged" in talks with New Orleans. He also added that the Clippers and Warriors would be more attractive long-term options if they were to sign center Tyson Chandler, as well.

ESPN reported Monday that the Hornets were willing to trade Paul before the season if he had yet to sign a contract extension by then. Paul is one of the league's best at point guard, and he averaged 15.9 points and almost 10 assists a game last season.
