Tim Tebow reportedly told Denver Broncos linebacker Wesley Woodyard prior to their incredible come-from-behind 13-10 victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday that God had spoken to him, according to The Denver Post.
"Tebow came to me and said, 'Don't worry about a thing,' because God has spoken to him,” Woodyard told the paper.
Woodyard later was credited with the forced fumble in overtime on Bears running back Marion Barber that allowed the Broncos to compile a game winning drive. Had Woodyard not stripped the ball loose, it is very likely that Barber could have ran the ball into the end zone for a game winning touchdown for Chicago. With the win the Broncos improved to 8-5 on the year and surpassed the Oakland Raiders for first place in the AFC West. With Tebow as their starting quarterback, Denver has now won six games in a row, as well as seven of their last eight contests.
