The Dallas Mavericks are reportedly on the verge of trading swingman Rudy Fernandez to the Denver Nuggets for future draft considerations, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.

The Mavericks acquired Fernandez on draft night, however the disgruntled forward has expressed interest in being moved after the club mad efforts to acquire Delonte West, Lamar Odom, and Vince Carter, three players who could significantly curb his playing time.

Fernandez, 26, averaged 8.6 points and 2.5 assists coming off the bench last season for the Portland Trail Blazers. Denver is also reportedly interested in Mavericks forward Corey Brewer.
