Report: Dallas Mavericks To Sign Sean Williams

The Dallas Mavericks are finalizing a deal for former first-round draft pick Sean Williams, ESPNDallas.com reports.

Williams reportedly has negotiated a buyout with his Israeli club, Maccabi Haifa, and will join the Mavericks Wednesday to complete a physical. Williams has been out of the NBA since 2010 after a contentious two seasons with the Nets that was marred by disciplinary issues.

The 25-year-old power forward will reportedly sign a two-year deal with the Mavericks with a partial guarantee for the second season.
