New Jersey Nets head coach Avery Johnson finds it “hilarious” that opposing crowds are booing power forward Kris Humphries, according to the New York Post.
“I don’t know why,” Johnson told the Post. “I’m trying to figure out, what did he do? I’m serious. Maybe because I don’t follow reality TV, I don’t know all the ins and outs of it but it’s pretty hilarious to me. I don’t know if they even know why they’re booing him.”
Humphries has been receiving flak from fans as a result of his nationally televised offseason exploits with his now ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The two were wed on national television Aug. 20, 2011, and filed for divorce just 72 days later. Last week it was revealed that Humphries had surpassed LeBron James as the league’s most disliked player, according to a poll put together by Nielsen and E-Poll Market Research.
