In his first game of the season Torain ran for 135 yards and one touchdown on 19 carries in Week 4 against the St. Louis Rams, however he has only been able to accumulate 65 total rushing yards in the 11 games since. Last year the 25-year-old back ran for 742 yards on 164 carries. The emergence of rookie running backs Roy Helu and Evan Royster, however, has marginalized the need for Torain.
