Memphis Grizzlies rookie guard Josh Selby is facing a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge from an October incident at the University of Maryland, according to the Memphis Commercial-Appeal.

Selby, 20, has been summoned to appear in a Maryland district court on January 25, according to the Commercial-Appeal.

"I have no comment about it," Selby said. "It is what it is."

According to the Commercial-Appeal, Grizzlies general manager Chris Wallace is aware of the charge but the team will withhold judgment. Selby was a second-round pick (49th overall) by the Grizzlies in the 2011 NBA Draft. This season, he has averaged 4.5 points and 2.8 assists per game for Memphis.
