Jacques was suspended for a hit to the head on Columbus Blue Jackets forward R.J. Umberger in Sunday’s game. The explanation from NHL VP of Player Safety Brendan Shanahan can be found here. Jacques has only played in six games for Anaheim this season and has accumulated no points and 12 penalty minutes.
