Report: Brian Schottenheimer Could Join Rams

New St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher is interested in hiring former New York Jets offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer, according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

While Fisher has not officially signed a contract with the Rams yet, he has been given the “green light” to talk to potential members of his coaching staff, according to Thomas. Schottenheimer is interviewing with Alabama to be their offensive coordinator and also interviewed for the head coaching job with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but was not hired.
