Philadelphia Eagles tight end Brent Celek was involved in an early-morning car crash today, according to CBS. Celek was uninjured in the wreck.
Celek was the passenger in the car which ran into a concrete barrier after spinning out of control on an exit ramp at 2:30 a.m. in Philadelphia. The driver, who was also uninjured, was charged with a DUI. The 27-year-old tight end just finished his fifth season in the NFL. In 16 games for the Eagles this season, Celek hauled in 62 receptions and five touchdowns. His best season came in 2009 when he caught 76 passes and scored eight touchdowns.
