McGinnis has served as the linebackers coach for the Titans since 2004, including seven seasons in which Fisher was the head coach.

Prior to his time with the Titans, the 60-year-old was the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals from 2000-03, posting a 17-40 overall record in that period. Fisher was the NFL’s longest-tenured head coach when fired by Tennessee last January. With the Titans/Oilers he posted a 142-120 overall record and led the team to the franchise’s lone Super Bowl berth in 1999. In 2010 he led the Titans to a 6-10 record.
