Qualls, 32, spent last season with the San Diego Padres, where he received a one-year $2.55 million deal. He threw 74 innings out of the bullpen, posting a 3.51 ERA . Over his eight year career, Qualls has a 3.78 record in 537 appearances. Qualls,33, will look to fill a void in a bullpen that has lost Brad Lidge and Ryan Madson this offseason.
