The Washington Wizards won their fifth game of the season last night in a 111-108 overtime thriller over the Toronto Raptors. The game’s most bizarre highlight, however, came early in the third quarter when Wizards center JaVale McGee began to sprint back on defense despite Washington maintaining possession of the ball. See McGee’s mistake below: http://blacksportsonline.springboardplatform.com/mediaplayer/springboard/video/blso003/803/435689/The 24-year-old big man has been a bright spot for the Wizards, averaging 10.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks per contest. He has, however, caught negative attention for some of his on-the-court antics in the past. Last season he famously attempted to get a triple-double by purposely taking bad shots in a late-season blowout to the Chicago Bulls. Earlier this season, he threw himself an alley-oop off the backboard on a fast break during an eventual loss to the Houston Rockets.
