Denver Nuggets leading scorer Danilo Gallinari suffered a sprained ankle during yesterday’s 99-90 loss to the Houston Rockets.

According to the Denver Post, X-rays revealed that the star forward had a chip fracture in his foot. Gallinari will receive a CT scan today to examine the severity of the injury.

Through 25 games this season Galanari has led the Nuggets by scoring 17 points per contest. He has also grabbed 5.2 rebounds and dished 2.6 assists per game this year. The Nuggets are currently 15-10 on the season, and have won just five out of their past 10 games.
