Make of this what you will: Frank Reich, longtime quarterbacks coach to Peyton Manning in Indianapolis, has been hired by the Arizona Cardinals, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

This isn't the first time a Manning-related rumor has swirled around the Cardinals -- star Cards receiver Larry Fitzgerald made headlines last week by having dinner with the quarterback, which many took as a sign that Fitzgerald was recruiting the Colts' legend.

The Cardinals lost six straight games early in the 2011 season, and quarterback Kevin Kolb was shut down for the season shortly thereafter with concussion-like symptoms. John Skelton took over under center, leading the Cardinals back to mediocrity at 8-8. The team is still looking for a long-term solution at QB.
