New York Knicks power forward Amar’e Stoudemire has returned to the team after taking some time to mourn the death of his brother, according to ESPN.

According to head coach Mike D’Antoni, Stoudemire will return to the lineup Tuesday against the Toronto Raptors (9-20).

Stoudemire left the team seven days ago to be with his family after finding out that his brother Hazell had been killed in a car accident. Stoudemire, averaging 18.2 points and 8.1 rebounds per game this season, will rejoin the Knicks who are on a five-game winning streak with the help from the exceptional play of point guard Jeremy Lin.
