The Kansas City Chiefs announced Tuesday that they have agreed to a deal with defensive back Kyle McCarthy, according to the team's website. McCarthy spent the last two seasons with the Denver Broncos.

In 2011, McCarthy recorded two tackles and appeared in four games. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2010.

McCarthy played his college ball at Notre Dame, starting every game in his last two seasons with the Fighting Irish.
