The St. Louis Cardinals and catcher Yadier Molina have discussed a potential contract extension, according to St. Louis Today.

Molina’s agent, Melvin Roman, visited camp twice this week to meet with GM, John Mozeliak, and start negotiations. The two sides exchanged reportedly parameters earlier this year, but could not come to a deal. Molina is a four-time Golden Glove Award winner, and three-time All-Star. Last season Molina hit .305 with 14 home runs and 65 RBIs.
