Bruins Acquire Brian Rolston and Mike Mottau From Islanders

The Boston Bruins have acquired left wing Brian Rolston and defensemen Mike Mottau from the New York Islanders just before the 3pm trade deadline, according to New England Sports Net.

Rolston had played for the Bruins from 2000 through 2004.  With the Islanders, he played 49 games scoring a total of four goals and five assists.

With the Islanders, Mottau’s playing time has been limited due to concussion issues.
