Former Denver Broncos receiver, Demaryius Thomas is set to testify against former teammate and roommate Perrish Cox in the cornerback’s sexual assault trail either today or tomorrow, according to the Denver Post.

The alleged victim, who at the time was Thomas’s girlfriend, testified to jurors on Tuesday saying that she remembered having relations with Thomas before she passed out. According to police reports, Thomas left the apartment after the accuser fell asleep.

DNA test results showed that Cox had impregnated the victim. Cox pleaded not guilty to one count of sexual assault while the victim was physically helpless, and one count of sexual assault while the victim was incapable of determining the nature of conduct. If he is convicted he could face a potential sentence of two years to life in prison.
