The 28-year-old has been considered a major leader on the St. Louis Cardinals team which won the 2011 World Series. The team failed to re-sign superstar Albert Pujols to a mega-contract this offseason, and had not made any major deals until today with Molina. Molina is a four-time Golden Glove Award winner, and three-time All-Star. Last season Molina hit .305 with 14 home runs and 65 RBIs.
