Former Denver Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox chose not to testify in his ongoing sexual assault trial, according to NBC Sports.

On Thursday, prosecutors played a video of Cox denying having sex with the alleged victim.  “I didn’t touch her at all,” Cox said in a recorded meeting with police.  “She wasn’t even drunk.”

Despite his denial, Cox’s DNA matched the DNA of the fetus in the alleged victim.  With only witness for the defense, the jury was scheduled to hear closing arguments on Thursday at 1:00 pm ET . Taken in the fifth round in the 2010 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos, Cox totaled 52 tackles and one interception in his NFL career.
